Candle Care & The Wooden Wick:
The first burn is very important. Hold a lighter (BBQ lighters work great) to the wick for approximately 20-30 seconds or until the wick catches fire: this can take a few attempts. We recommend a minimum of one hour burn time to allow the wax to melt evenly. Each time you relight your candle, be sure to break off the burnt pieces; thus, allowing your candle to have a strong flame. Always burn you candle on a heat safe surface.
